The Tovačov Retirement Home is located in the historic town of Tovačov, located in the fertile Haná plain of Central Moravia, near the confluence of the Morava and Bečva rivers. It is located near Tovačov Chateau, which dominates the town and is also a well-known historical and cultural monument. The complex consists of one- and two-story buildings with attic conversions. It includes a courtyard with park-like landscaping, serving as a place for clients to relax undisturbed.
During a regular fire safety inspection of the 27-year-old gable roof, it was determined that the beam structure needed to be treated with a fire-retardant coating. Bochemit Antiflash was chosen because of its properties and also because of the excellent cooperation from the product manufacturer. "The Bochemit brand was a clear choice for us. Not only was the product readily available, but we also appreciated the opportunity for professional training, which enabled us to apply the coating ourselves by a combination of painting and spraying using our own maintenance staff," explains Milan Valenta, Head of Operations Department.
The structural timber elements were treated with Antiflash fire retardant in February 2024. We will gladly continue to rely on the Bochemit brand in the future, if necessary," adds Valenta.
