A century-old house in Hradec nad Moravicí has undergone a complete rebuild and renovation. Parts of the attic floor and some of the beams had been showing visible signs of infestation by pests, and by wood-decaying fungus in particular. Rot was also setting in, with some beams beginning to crumble.
So the homeowner chose to take the matter into his own hands. He removed the rotten, infested wood and reinforced the beams. He salvaged the rest of the wood by applying Bochemit Plus I, thus ridding it of any concealed infestation. “I appreciated the straightforward directions on the label. I measured the area of the wood I would need to treat as per the indications, then diluted the appropriate amount of Bochemit with water. I used a standard sprayer to apply the entirety of the solution. As well as being easy to apply, Bochemit Plus I is also clear and odourless,” said homeowner Ondřej Vícha. Ondřej then used Bochemit Opti F+ in green for post-application preservation.
