Fire Protection

Dilutable wood fire-retardant liquid concentrate that reduces burn rate and slows the spreading of flames on the wood surface. It also prevents smoke from developing. For the treatment of wooden fixtures of built structures and other wood-based materials built into building interiors.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Mix before use! Remove all bark residues, old paint coats and debris before treatment. For the preservative to be deposited uniformly and evenly across the timber surface, treatment should take place at temperatures of +5 °C to +40 °C. Do not apply Bochemit PYRO to frozen timber. Bochemit Pyro is recommended for timber with a maximum humidity content of 20%. Wait until the first coat has soaked in completely (about 4-24 hours) before applying the next coat or spray. Keep treated timber away from rain and high humidity. We do not recommend overlapping with other coats.

Certified as effective against fire under EN 13501-1, EN 13823, EN11925-2.
